I had a 2.9999 GPA and an 1110 SAT score and i got into this school last year. I didnt have any extracurricular activities either. I just wrote a long essay saying how much i wanted to go to the school. If u really want to come to the school make sure u let them know that.Visit the campus mention names of professors and if an admissions officer comes to your school talk with the person and let them get to know u. I also mentioned my job that i had and got a great letter of recommendation from my employer. The admissions standards arnt really as high as they say alot of people i know that go here had similiar grades and SAT's too me. Grades and SAT's arnt everything, i had some of the lowest SAT's and highschool GPA but first semester at Delaware i was in the top 20 percent of my class. People with 4.0's and 1300's do fail out, my first semester roomate haha.

UofD seems to encourage activity, the more you areJul 05 2003Political Science
UofD seems to encourage activity, the more you are interested in the better. e.g., if you are an athlete, tell them you would like to play sports there, if not, tell them you would like to be involved in the newspaper, a debate group, or you would like to participate in student government. From what I can tell, the UofD looks favorably on active students with a good g.p.a. more than that of an unactive student with a great g.p.a.
SAT: 1080 Male
